12 days of christmas task

We had to take pictures of the 12 days of Christmas for out homework task. We could interpret it in any way that we wanted.

For " A partridge in a pear tree " , I took a picture of a pear. I put the torch on my phone and held it up so there was a shadow created by the pear to make the image more interesting:

For "two turtle doves" I took a picture of my sisters 2 toy turtles and a dove product that I had. I used the torch on my phone to create light and shadows within the image:

For " three French hens " I took a picture of 3 eggs that I had with a moustache that seemed like a stereotypical French guy moustache. I used the torch on my phone to create a cool shadow of the eggs and moustache:

For " four calling birds " I took a picture of my phone getting a call from 'ma bird'. To take this, it took a while as the phone kept ringing out and it was difficult to get the phone and writing not blurry:

For "five gold rings" I took a picture of a gold ring of tape on my hand in the shape of a number 5. I took it against my mirror so that my Christmas hat and decorations can be seen:

For "six geese a laying" I took my duck cuddly toy (as I didn't have a goose toy) and put it in between the doors of the mirrors in my mum's bedroom. I made it so there was 6 geese as the song says:

For "seven swans a swimming" I made an origami swan and put it in between the doors of the mirrors in my mum's bedroom. I made it so there was 7 swans, I likes the shadows around the edges:

For "eight maids a milking" I took a picture of a toy cow in between the mirrors, I made sure that there were 8 in the picture, it was difficult to take the picture as the doors had to be held whilst I tried to take the picture:

For "nine ladies dancing" I took a picture of my toy ballerina, I didn't take a picture of 9 reflections because I didn't realise it was the wrong number until I uploaded it to my computer. This one isn't my favourite picture because I think that the ballerina could have been more visible:

For "ten lord's a leaping" I took a picture of a gold Christmas crown. I made sure that there were 10 crows visible in the reflections. I tried to make the focus on the first crown:

For "eleven pipers piping" I took a picture of the wooden tube in the wrapping paper, this is because it was the closest thing to a pipe that I could find in my house. I took the picture from above to make sure that all 11 could be seen. I liked that the reflections could be seen by the mirrors:

For "twelve drummers drumming" I took a picture of a drum my sister had. This was the hardest picture to take as it was the hardest angle to hold the mirror doors at. I liked the shadows made from the door in each of the reflections:
