3 street photos task

 

Our homework task was to take 3 photos in the style of street photography. I decided to take photographs of the street.

 

My first photo was taken in Edinburgh. This was not my favourite as I didn't like the way the lights looked, however I did like the way the bike was and the shadow that it produced:

 

 

My second photograph was taken in Lauder high street as I walked to school. I set my phone onto black and white and held my phone at my stomach and took pictures as I walked to my bus. I liked the angle that this photo had:

 

 

My third photograph was of the street just outside my house in Lauder, I liked the way the tree looked in the top of the picture and how you could see all the way down the street:

 

3 photos task

 

Our homework task was to take 3 photos that we thought were good photos. I went to Alnwick Castle at the weekend and decided to take a few photos for our homework task there. 

 

The first photo was of a monster statue at the end of the castles knights quest trail. I took it from a lower angle and in black and white to make the picture more scary and dramatic:

 

My second photo was of a dragon statue in a cage that I found within the castle. I took it in black and white as the colours didn't contrast well together and weren't balanced:

 

My third photo was of a statue in the middle of the grounds of the castle. I took it at a lower angle as I thought it'd look better that way and I liked the way that the shadows fell:
